Excursions to Durres (Albania) by bus

Durres is the second largest city and a municipality of Albania. It is central on the coast, about 33 km west of the capital Tirana. It is one of the most ancient and economically significant cities of Albania. Durres is home to Albania's main port, the Port of Durres. Founded in the 7th century BC by Greek colonists from Corinth and Corcyra under the name Epidamnos, it has been continuously inhabited for 2,700 years and is one of the oldest cities in Albania.

We starting around 8 a.m. from Montenegro Apartments complex and drive via ferry, passing Tivat and Budva.

One stop above St.Stefan island for coffee and photo break.

Second stop is in Bar to see port of Bar and orthodox church St. Jovan Vladimir.

After that we passing Ulcinj and entering to Albania.

3^rd stop is in Skadar city with pause of 45 minutes for look around.
It is one of the oldest and most historic places in Albania, as well as an important cultural and economic centre.
At the west side of city is Skadar Lake, the largest in Western Balkans which straddle Albania and Montenegro.

4^th stop is in Tirana city for coffee break and look around.

It is one of the most build cities in Europe in past 10 years.

5^th stop is in Durres city with pause for look around.
